Malaysia Horizontal Directional Drilling Association (MyHDD)
These Terms of Use ("User Terms") govern your access and use of the services provided by the Malaysia Horizontal Directional Drilling Association (MyHDD) via the website https://myhdd.com.my/ (the "Platform" or "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be legally bound by these User Terms.
1. User Obligations and Conduct
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Platform. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Platform.
2. Account Registration and Security
If you register for an account on the Platform, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form and to maintain and promptly update this data.
3. Membership, Payments, and Fees
- Membership Fees: All membership joining fees and annual subscriptions are specified on the Platform and are subject to change.
- Payment: All fees are payable in advance and must be settled through the approved payment methods indicated during the application process (e.g., credit card, bank transfer).
- Non-Refundable: Initial fees and subscription fees are generally non-refundable upon termination for any reason whatsoever, unless otherwise specified in specific program terms.
- Taxes: All prices listed include applicable Malaysian taxes unless stated otherwise.
4. Uploading and Downloading Data
The Platform allows members to upload and download data, case studies, and technical documentation ("User Content") for knowledge exchange.
- License Grant: By uploading User Content, you grant MyHDD an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purposes of the Association.
- Responsibility: You warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload the content and that it does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights.
- Misuse: MyHDD reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who breaches this provision, including removing offending content and terminating the account.
5. Limitation of Liability
MyHDD shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind, including loss of income, profits, or data, arising from the use or inability to use this website or from your participation in associated activities.
6. Governing Law
These User Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. You irrevocably agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts to settle any dispute.
